What is Toffee Links?

Toffee Links is a community-driven platform built by Everton fans, for Everton fans. We use automated scanning technology and artificial intelligence to track transfer rumours linked to Everton Football Club in real time, then present them in an easy-to-browse format so the Everton community can stay informed and have their say.

Whether it's a promising young talent from the lower leagues or a marquee signing from a top European club, Toffee Links brings every credible link into one place so you never miss a potential deal.

How It Works

Automated scanning. Our system continuously monitors X for credible Everton transfer activity. We scan posts from hundreds of journalists, reporters, and football media outlets across the world — from Tier 1 insiders to international news desks — so nothing slips through the cracks.

AI-assisted analysis, human-reviewed. Our AI reviews every potential link and surfaces only the ones worth a closer look — and a human admin gives the final sign-off before anything reaches the site. This is AI-assisted, not AI-generated: the technology does the heavy filtering, but a real Evertonian makes the call.

Professional data enrichment. Once a player is identified, we pull comprehensive statistics from SportMonks, our football data provider, covering the Premier League, Championship, La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga, Ligue 1, and more. Every player card is populated with verified, up-to-date information.

You have your say. Every player card has a voting section where you can cast your vote — "Sign Him!" if you'd love to see the player in Royal Blue, or "No Thanks" if you think Everton should look elsewhere. Votes are tallied in real time, with live summaries and overviews so you can see at a glance what the community thinks.

Toffee Links is built by two dedicated Evertonians based in Portland, Oregon — supporters first, builders second. Everything here is made for the people who refresh the transfer news as obsessively as we do.

Zac Holman

Co-Founder & Designer

Zac is a UX designer and lifelong Evertonian. He originally created Toffee Links as a visual transfer tracker for the Everton subreddit, maintaining it through two summer transfer windows. What started as a community graphic grew into the full-featured platform you see today. Zac leads the design, branding, and user experience.

Jonathan Gallardo-Kerth

Co-Founder & Engineer

Jonathan is a full-stack software engineer specialising in React, Next.js, Python, and cloud infrastructure. He built the automated scanning pipeline, AI triage system, and the web application that powers Toffee Links. He joined forces with Zac to turn the original concept into a fully automated, data-driven platform.
